Sorry about bawling all over this blog last Friday. Sometimes it helps to process the difficult stuff by getting it out of my head. And crying about it. You've been a lovely audience. Thank you very much.

Weekend Highs:

Marisa's first softball game! It got dark before the game ended so we will have to make up an inning sometime. But our girls ended the game on something like a 10 or 12 run streak! Marisa played 2nd base and catcher....both of which she did excellent at.

Saturday we went shopping for our "wedding hair" stuff...(all the stuff us girls need to do our hair up for Aunt Maria's wedding this coming weekend)

Spent the afternoon at the Quad City Swing Baseball game. Awesome day for a ball game.

Sunday finished up shopping for Nathan's clothes for the wedding. I am tired of running into town. Glad the shopping is done.

Weekend Lows:

Had to listen to Claire and Danielle repeatedly tell me they are thirsty thirsty thirsty at Marisa's softball game. I would only allow so much to drink as the only bathrooms in sight were porta-potty's. I hate porta pottys.

Fred and Claire left the Swing Game early to take Claire to a Doctor in town. She had been coughing non-stop and at first we thought maybe it was allergy related. But allergy meds didn't help. They put her on a couple of different things and it seemed to take immediate effect.

Sunday everybody was beat. Tired. Cranky. Long weekend outside in the sun.
